Zen Masters

This group is for elementary youth with anxiety and their caregivers. Each child attends this group with one parent/guardian to focus on learning strategies to manage symptoms of anxiety while also practicing aspects of yoga. Parents and children learn skills separately, then come together to apply their skills through yoga and mindfulness. Additionally, this group includes crafts and games to help participants practice principles of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.

World Builders: executive functioning and social skills through creative world building

This group is for neurodiverse and gifted or highly creative (twice exceptional) middle and high school youth who have creative ideas to share. Each participant develops their own ideas into a permanent product, such as a book, graphic novel, movie, play, or podcast. The purpose of this group is to help participants learn and practice the executive functioning skills required to complete a large project. This includes planning, organization, attention to detail, and follow-through with tasks. Additionally, participants have the opportunity to practice important social skills, including giving and receiving feedback, sharing their ideas, and expressing support to others.

authentic connections

This group is for neurodiverse adults (ages 18-40) who are motivated to build authentic connections with other neurodiverse individuals. As a group, we will practice friendship and meaningful conversation skills in a supported setting. Do you experience social anxiety but still want to form deep connections with people who understand you? No problem. We will be with you every step of the way to help you manage anxiety while forming interpersonal connections. In addition to working on these skills in our office, participants will have the chance to apply their skills through community outings.
